Last week I went to the London Festival of Design and saw Noma Bar's exhibition 'Cut It Out' at Outline Editions just off Oxford Street. He expertly uses negative space to make people think twice about what they are looking at. Having seen his work in various books, newspapers and blogs it was great to see it for myself. The centre piece was a die-cutting machine in the shape of a dog which could be used with different materials to create your own versions of his work. His work proves that often the best work is that with a simple yet. My personal favourite was "Erotic Writing".
